Before you hit the court, make sure you meet the following requirements to ensure your assessment is valid and officially counts toward your DUPR rating.
What are the requirements to get a first DUPR Rating with Wingfield?
☑️ Your Wingfield account needs to be connected to your DUPR account.
☑️ A DUPR verified coach must be present during your assessment to officially submit your Projected DUPR Rating.
How do I get a DUPR Rating with Wingfield?
1. Connect Your Accounts
Before starting your assessment, link your Wingfield account with your DUPR account in the Wingfield App...
- ➡️ Open the Wingfield App
- ➡️ Navigate to your profile
- ➡️ Select "Connect DUPR" and follow the instructions

2. Play a Player Assessment with the Wingfield Box
Once your account is linked to DUPR, you can go to a Wingfield-enabled court, check in to the Wingfield System and play a Player Assessment.
The Player Assessment consists of 24 drills and takes at least 25 minutes to complete. Each drill generates an individual score, which is then combined into an overall assessment score. This final score is converted into a Projected DUPR Rating.
3. Submitting The Projected DUPR Rating
To officially submit your Projected DUPR Rating to DUPR, a verified coach must be present. The coach must be logged into the system using their verified Coach account alongside you. Once the assessment is fully completed, the score can be submitted. The coach can also fine-tune the final rating by up to ±0.50 before submitting it.
☝🏻 By the way: Don't worry, the coach can still log in at the end of the assessment to submit the Projected DUPR.
What if You haven’t connected your DUPR account yet?
If you have already played an assessment but haven’t linked your DUPR account yet, don’t worry! Your coach can nevertheless submit your Projected DUPR rating and you still have 14 days to connect your account in the Wingfield App.
- If you connect your account within 14 days, your rating will be automatically submitted to DUPR.
- If you fail to connect your account within the 14-day window, your rating will expire and will not be submitted.
Can a Projected DUPR Rating Replace an Existing DUPR Rating?
No, if a player already has a DUPR rating, the Projected DUPR Rating cannot be submitted or replace the existing one—regardless of whether it is higher or lower.
