# Unlock Your Account For Official Ratings
## This is how to unlock the official match rating for your national provider in your Wingfield account.
In participating associations or rating systems, you can also use Wingfield to have matches officially rated outside of team matches or tournaments. With our **[validation process](https://help.wingfield.io/en/match-validation?hsLang=en)**, we ensure that matches have taken place in accordance with the applicable regulations of the rating provider and under fair conditions. As an official partner of the**[German Tennis Association](https://www.tennis.de/news/spielen/2024/ki-basierte-match-pruefung--dtb-und-wingfield-launchen-mobilen-l.html)** or **[DUPR](https://www.dupr.com/)**, we automatically submit validated results to the respective ranking system.
### Activate Your Account For Your Rating
You can access the Competition area of your account via the *home screen* in the Wingfield app or the *app menu* and the *Profile and settings* tab.
#### Step 1 | Connect With Rating Provider
The process for linking your rating may vary depending on the provider. To ensure a smooth setup, please refer to the instructions provided in the Wingfield app or follow the specific guides available for each rating provider.

#### Step 2 | Add Payment Method
Some rating providers charge processing fees for the official rating of your matches. In order to finally activate your account for your rating provider, you may have to add your preferred payment method. As soon as you are connected to the rating provider and have added a payment method, your account is activated for LK matches.
**☝🏼By the way:** Your payment method will only be charged after a match has been made and validated. The result of the validation is irrelevant.
**⚠️ Attention:** If your profile is deactivated after you have once activated it, this may be due to the following reasons:
- 💸 Your **payment method** is invalid.
- ❌ Your federation does not offer the **match validation service** any more.
- 🚧 Your account has been locked by us after repeated **offences**.
**The more players who have activated their account for your rating provider, the easier it is for you to find potential opponents for a match. So go on, tell your friends! 💚**
