Demo days are an excellent way to familiarize your members with the Wingfield Box. Here you will find an exemplary procedure.
Hosting a prominent event generates excitement about your new service within the club, allowing members to ask questions and experience Wingfield for the first time in a guided environment.
💡Tip: To maximize member participation, we suggest incorporating the demonstration into a pre-existing event, such as the season opening or club championships. Be sure to promote the event ahead of time to generate interest..
☝🏼By the way: In our online club onboarding, we train your trainers and activate their trainer accounts.
Proven game formats
There are several effective ways to engage with Wingfield during your event. Here are some creative ideas to consider:
Masterclasses:
Coaches lead masterclasses in small groups, each focusing on different aspects of play on the Wingfield Court. Throughout these sessions, coaches utilize Wingfield as a training tool, demonstrating its practical applications. For example, a session on "Mastering Your Serve" may include serve drills paired with technique analysis using video recordings.
Drill Challenges:
Drill challenges provide an excellent opportunity for members to engage in friendly competition on the court. For instance, you might host a contest to determine the club's top serve champions and offer raffle prizes to all participants. These drill challenges serve as an exciting complement to any event or tournament, encouraging member interaction and enhancing the overall experience.

Exemplary daily schedule
Welcome and registration (until 10 am)
Ensure that all participants have downloaded the Wingfield app and created their Wingfield accounts prior to the event. This preparation will help maximize court time and minimize delays.
- Members should be encouraged to pre-register for masterclasses, although on-the-day registration will also be available. Begin the event with a brief overview of the day's agenda and a reintroduction to Wingfield.
- What is Wingfield? How does it work? What features does the system offer?
- Additionally, where can participants view the live results of the Drill Challenge? (read the Blueprint: Drill Challenges for details.)
- What prizes are available for winners?
💡Tip: Connect a smartphone to a TV and show your club ranking in the Wingfield app. This way, everyone can always see the live results of your challenge.
Program (from 10 am)
- The schedule includes seven 45-minute slots for Masterclasses or Drill Challenges
- A maximum of four players should participate in each masterclass session to ensure personalized attention and an effective learning environment.
- Each session is led by a coach and has a different focus (e.g. drills including video analysis)
- Participants will enjoy 15-minute breaks between each time slot. Additionally, it's beneficial to rotate coaches periodically, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to rest and recharge throughout the day.
- A Drill Challenge will be conducted simultaneously, interspersed between the brief masterclass sessions.
- Organize small groups to be on the court at the same time during a Drill Challenge slot (again, no more than four players)
💡Tip: If you have several Wingfield Courts, you can have the Drill Challenge take place on one separate court throughout the day.
