Dual Tracking Camera Installation – Pole

Learn how to mount and align the Dual Camera Module (DCM) on a freestanding pole for tennis and pickleball courts.

These installation instructions apply to the following system types:

The Dual Camera Module (DCM) is the tracking camera unit of your Wingfield AI Pro system, delivering precise ball tracking on your court. This guide walks you through mounting the DCM on our freestanding pole solution for tennis and pickleball courts.

☝🏻 By the way: This article assumes your pole is already fully installed. For positioning, anchoring, and pole assembly, check out the previous instructions in Installation Court Terminal - Pole.

Before mounting the Dual Camera Module, make sure:

  • ✔ the sideline distance ratings from Installation Court Terminal - Pole are met 
  • ✔ the pole is fully assembled and anchored
  • ✔ the top pole segment's DCM mounting point faces straight toward the court

⚠️ Attention: If the segments aren't perfectly aligned after assembly, you can use the locking collar on the top segment to correct it.

Mounting the Dual Camera Module to the Pole Solution

☝🏻 By the way: The images below show a multi-court setup with two Wingfield AI Pro systems installed back-to-back on neighboring courts.

  1.  Attach the L-bracket to the court facing side of the top pole segment with the four supplied screws

  2. Attach the DCM to the L-bracket using the two supplied screws.

  3. Run the cable of the Dual Camera Module down through the pole to the Court Terminal nad plug it in (here you can find the Installation Guide for Court Terminal – Pole)

Camera Alignment & Calibration 

In the final step, we'll prepare the Dual Camera Module (DCM) for your court. The final camera calibration is carried out by our Support team. Simply reach out to us in our shared WhatsApp group when you're ready.

💡 Tip: Please keep our support hours in mind. It's best to let us know in advance when you'd like to calibrate your system so our Support team can schedule the session.

Before we begin the calibration, please make sure that:

  • ✔ The Dual Camera Module faces straight to the court, as described in the mounting instructions.

  • ✔ All four corners of the court are clearly visible in the calibration image.

💡 Tip: Place four balls in the corners of the court. 

How to Display the Calibration View

⚠️ Attention: During the initial setup, connect all cables to the Court Screen first before plugging the system into power and turning it on.

Once your system has been fully wired, you can display the calibration image on the Court Screen.

  1. On the Home Screen, tap the ⚙️ icon in the top-left corner to open the Admin Menu.
  2. Enter your Admin PIN (shared with you via email and in our WhatsApp group).
  3. Navigate to the Calibration tab.

⚠️ Attention: The left and right cameras of the DCM may be swapped. In the calibration image, click Switch cameras in the bottom-left corner.
