Checklist for your announcement

☑️ Onboarding session: Run an introduction day with your members and/or teams.

☑️ Public relations: Make the local press aware of your new offer.

☑️ Newsletter: Send an official announcement to your members via email or WhatsApp.

☑️ Social Media: Bring Wingfield to life on your social media channels – from installation to the first sessions.

💡Tip: Be aware that you will not reach all members through the same communication channel. Therefore, use all media available for your announcement.

Onboarding sessions 🗣️

Experience shows that onboarding sessions help your members understand how they can get the most out of Wingfield. A high-profile event raises awareness of your new offer across the club (!).

Proven formats:

  • Demo Day as a club event: Whether as part of the season opening or as a stand-alone event with bratwurst and beer (you can find an example below).
  • Onboarding sessions in practice: The training is the best place to introduce the system to your players. Test all functions with your teams or groups.
  • Onboarding sessions for all coaches: Your coaches will be valuable multipliers. If Wingfield is used regularly in training, members will also use it more often in free play. Go out on the court with all coaches and work out applications for your training program together.

☝🏼By the way: In our online club onboarding we train your coaches and activate their coach accounts.

Best practice: Tennisclub WISTA Berlin

At the WISTA Berlin tennis club, members can arrange short onboarding sessions with the Wingfield contact persons. Mainly the drill mode is chosen to get started.

Best practice: Freiburger Tennisclub

To ring in the official start with Wingfield, the coaches invited people to a demo day with biscuits and mulled wine at christmas time. Members were able to test Wingfield in various exercises on three courts and received additional tips from the coaches.

  • Court 1:  Serve Drill (10 serves)
  • Court 2: Forehand Drill on targets (20 balls, played as a basket drill)
  • Court 3: Backhand Drill on targets (20 balls, played as a basket drill)

The Drill mode is ideal as a first point of contact with Wingfield. The playful and direct feedback on the box screen is simply fun and makes boring drills much more interactive.

🗞️ Public relations

Let the people in your region know that your club is not standing still and that the tennis infrastructure and offering are being developed continuously. An article in the local press might also arouse interest among non-members - your sponsors will be happy anyways. You should also let supporters and members give a statement on Wingfield in your club magazine or your website.

☝🏼By the way: In our 🔗Online Marketing Kit you will find text templates that can be a good basis for your press work. You can also download images and logos in our 🔗Press Room.

💡Tip: Follow us our social media channels (especially YouTube). We regularly share content that you can also use on your channels.

[...] Some of you may have heard about it already, but now the time has finally come! We are bringing innovative analysis technology from Wingfield to our club.
The Wingfield Box transforms our court X into a smart playing field. The camera-based tracking system captures all facets of your game: shot speed and accuracy, match stats or even scores are tracked by Wingfield and synchronized with the HD video footage of your session. No matter what level of play you are at, Wingfield helps you get a little better every day.

Match stats: Exciting evaluations, formerly known from the TV broadcasts of the Grand Slams, show you what to look out for in the next match.

Video tools:
Watching yourself back regularly can be a real game changer. Thanks to artificial intelligence, you can automatically skip pauses in the Wingfield app and navigate intuitively through your videos.

Interactive drills:
After an exercise, the Wingfield Box tells you how many balls you hit into a given target field. Measured by your precision and shot speed, each drill is rated on a scale from 0-100.

Social Media

Cover the Wingfield project on your social media channels, from installation to the first sessions. There are no limits to your creativity.

Best Practice: Tennisclub Kirchhörde

The ladies of TC Kirchhörde present Wingfield in short videos on the club's Instagram account.

Inspirations:

  • Document the installation of your Wingfield Box with pictures or time-lapse videos.
  • Let your members give a statement on their experiences with Wingfield.
  • Let your coaches showcase the most important features of the box in short videos. This is much more personal than an introduction video from us. 🙂
  • Show its application in training on a regular basis.
  • Use the monthly club rankings to activate your members with small challenges or competitions (e.g. Who plays the most sessions with Wingfield this month? Which playing partners achieve the highest forehand team drill score? ) Follow the actions on your social media channels and give away cool prizes.

☝🏼 By the way: Images and videos produced for social media can be reused on the website.
