2.1 Tennis: Set up the Wingfield Box

In these simple steps you set up the Wingfield Box. 🔧

⚠️ Select the guide that applies to you:

Step 1 | Change net posts

🛠️ In this step, you need the following:

Net post adapter

Wingfield Box Body

Net crank

1️⃣ Put the net post adapter together in the correct order. Ensure that you use the appropriate attachments for your ground socket.

☝🏼By the way: The scope of delivery contains adapters for the most common ground sockets (76mm rund / 83mm round / 80x80mm square). These can be extended as a unique design for any net post shape...except in the following cases:

❌ The net post is set in concrete (and therefore has no ground socket).
❌ The depth of the existing ground socket is less than 23 cm
❌ The ground socket is narrower than 6.3 cm at its narrowest point.

If one of the last two points applies to your net post, please get in touch with our customer service directly. We can find a unique solution without any guarantee.

2️⃣ Put the Wingfield Box Body over the net post adapter
3️⃣ Pass your net through the groove of the integrated net post and pull it down on the opposite side. Attach it to the hook.
4️⃣ Tension the net again and make sure the box is aligned straight.

💡Tip: Use the extension chain provided to attach the net to the box if the net rope is too short.

Step 2 | Mount the Wingfield Box Brain

🛠️ In this step, you need the following:

Wingfield Box Brain (tracking module)

4x Torx screws (Wingfield Box Brain Assembly Kit)

1x special screwdriver (Wingfield Box Brain Assembly Kit)

1️⃣ Put the tracking module (Wingfield Box Brain) on the body of the Wingfield Box.
2️⃣ Fix it with the four Torx screws. Use our (extended) screwdriver.

⚠️ Attention: Please do not remove the film from the touchscreen of your Wingfield Box! This is a permanent protection for your display.

🛠️ In this step, you will need:

Wingfield Box Body

Wingfield Box Brain (Tracking module)

Mounting kit (incl. 2x non-slip rubber adhesive strips, screwdriver, 2x net post clamps)

(Long) screwdriver from the Wingfield Box Brain Mounting Kit

4x Torx screws
